At Restart the Heart, we are passionate about empowering individuals and organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with the life saving skills and knowledge to respond effectively in emergencies. Founded by a seasoned paramedic with over 12 years of experience in the DFW metroplex, our mission is to provide top-notch training in CPR/AED, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Bleeding Control, Child and Babysitting Safety, Oxygen Administration, and Bloodborne Pathogen Prevention.

Our CEO and primary instructor, Wesley Thompson, is a dedicated paramedic employed by a local fire department who brings a wealth of real-world experience to every class. Having been actively involved in emergency response for more than a decade, he has seen firsthand the critical difference that effective and timely intervention can make in saving lives. Since 2016, he has been teaching both healthcare providers and the general public, with training sessions tailored to diverse settings such as emergency response teams, hospital and nursing home staff, dental and physical therapy offices, daycare providers, and foster care agencies.
