Basic Life Support (BLS)
For individuals in the healthcare or professional rescuer field that are required to have professional level basic life support training.
Students learn how to recognize a life threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking.
Certification is valid for 2 years.
We are certified through Health and Safety Institute (HSI) and American Heart Association (AHA). If you need a CPR certification to satisfy a requirement at your place of employment or organization, please confirm which type of certification is required before purchasing a class.
For HSI certifications: HSI is a blended online and in person class. Within 24 hours of your purchase of your purchase, you will be sent a separate email that contains the link to get started with your class. Once you complete the class and pass the knowledge assessment you will contact us to schedule an available time with an instructor for your skills training and evaluation.
For AHA certifications: You will be sent an email confirming your purchase as well as a request for your availability to complete the approximately 4 hour in person instruction.
